Robert Hahn upgraded his xref plugin so it does not duplicate entries from multiple categories.

Because Blosxom works with a flat file system to create categories you cannot easily have an entry in multiple categories at once. xref allows you to have an article in multiple categories by letting you place a reference file in any category to a primary entry.
