Project Status
I emailed the author about this program, and am pasting his reply below :)
I've not officially abandoned it, although I am no longer using the Blosxom blog server but rather MT, so for it to be useful to me now I'd need to write a whole ecto-style client rather than a FTP app with a text editor. I've not officially abandoned it but if anyone wants to take it over, they should feel free. By the way, the name Catkin needs changing as it clashes with that of another project.
So there ya go, now to learn Qt I guess... :D

Sort of...
It hasn't had any releases recently because it works quite well. The mailing list for BXR is a good place to ask questions which don't seem to come up too often. The most recent version is quite good; give it a try!
